Notes

Notes are a simple way for exchanging information between the users of OpenGoo. Notes can be used as a replacement for a forum, a blog, a blackboard, or a mailing list. It supports comments, so you can discuss things; and by subscribing to a note you make sure that you don't miss anything while you are not logged into the system. So notes are a simple, but very useful and powerful element of OpenGoo.

Clicking on the “Notes” tab takes you the notes list view.

Please note that you get the beginning of each note in a tooltip by simply positioning the mouse pointer over a note (without clicking on it). That's enough to find a certain note quickly in case the titles are not differentiating enough or partly hidden.

For more information about the common features of this screen see the page List view.

A note consists basically of a title and a text in plaintext format (no formatting options, no HTML code).

Please note: The “Additional text” below the regular text has no specific function at the moment. 1)

All other parameters in the subsections “Workspace”, “Tags”, “Options”, “Properties”, “Linked Objects” are standard. Please see Common object parameters for details.
